Jacques Bermon Webster I, born April 30, 1990, also known as Travis Scott (formerly Travi$ Scott), is an American musician and rapper. His stage name is the fusion of the name a favorite uncle, and the initials Kid Cudi (whose real identity is Scott Mescudi), Scott signed his debut major-label contract in 2012, with Epic Records. In April of 2013, Scott signed joint recording agreements with Epic and T.I. He is signed to Epic and T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first long-form project, Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in 2013. In 2013 Scott self-released his first full-length album, called Owl Pharaoh, and was followed by Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015) marked the release of his debut studio album. The hit song, "Antidote", was included on the album. The album that followed, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was the first Billboard 200 number one album. Scott released Birds in the Trap: Sing McCKnight (2016) alongside Quavo under the name of Huncho Jack. In the year 2018, Astroworld was released to critical acclaim. It produced his first Billboard Hot 100 top 100 single, "Sicko Mode" feat. Drake. Scott's compilation album JackBoys was released by Cactus Jack Records in late 2019. It was a top hit on the Billboard 200. Following the single "Franchise" and Scott (featuring Young Thug) and M.I.A. were released, it was a top hit on the Billboard 200. Scott became the Hot 100's first artist to have three songs at number one in less than one year in 2020.
