 Jimmy Donaldson (born May 7 1998) also known as MrBeast, is an American YouTube personality, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He is well-known for making YouTube videos that are focused on expensive stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson uploaded videos to YouTube at 13 under the pseudonym "MrBeast6000". His first content consisted of Let's Plays and video estimating the wealth other YouTubers. In 2017, he became a viral sensation following his "counting to 100,000" video earned tens of thousands of views in just a couple of days. He has grown in popularity ever since, with most of his videos gaining hundreds of millions of views.Over time, his style of content diversified to include challenge and donation videos that award millions of dollars, videos involving difficult tasks or survival challenges, and original vlogs. Donaldson hired many of his former classmates as his assistants for his growing channel. MrBeast was the primary YouTube channel for Donaldson and had 60 subscribers.
