Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American actor, comedian and activist Her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents and started her career as an actress as a child just after moving to the United States. From 2013 to 2016, she was the AT&T salesperson Lily Adams, and since 2020. Her fame was boosted for her role in television commercials. Apart from commercial appearances, she was also a regular on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also played a recurring role as a character on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. Vayntrub has also been the voice for Squirrel girl on Marvel Rising since 2018, after being cast in the TV pilot that was never aired New Warriors. Vayntrub is a Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native, and also is a Jew. Her parents, who were both two years old, immigrated to America as refugees from antisemitism. They were settled in West Hollywood. She started performing in Mattel Barbie commercials at the age of five, due in part to her family's financial problems. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School, however, she quit after her sophomore year, obtained a GED and went to pursue the Bachelor of Arts in Communication from University of California, San Diego. Vayntrub studied improv comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade.
